This really depends on both of your schedules, write down times of the days for suckling, and times of the day for pumping. This has to be something the one lactating really needs to communicate with your partner what you need. I understand everyone’s schedules are different but its crucial to be on one for the first year of inducing milk flow.

First thing in the morning your partner should start suckling, meaning two hours before you both need to work or WHATEVER responsibilities need to be done daily.
Using an oil or NON.scented lotion to MOISTURIZE, soothing cream afterwards.
If needed start massaging for at MOst 5 minutes in the morning
DEPENDING on your body needs, start pumping before work or other daily duties.
Always carry a hand pump in your purse or car if leaving your home, you never know when you’ll need it.
Set a day for cleaning breast pads, staying clean is crucial.
During breaks at home or at work (In the bathroom) set a time to massage your breasts or pump if needed
By dinner time make sure you’re eating CONSIDERABLY healthy and You should always stay HYDRATED.
Most couples have down time after work hours, watching a movie he can begin TO.suckle,
*I had a partner who played video games often & I do myself however, he often became distracted, pushing our schedule back.. There was one day I was becoming ENGORGED after a long day, I Sat on his lap facing him, asking if he could feed while he played, it took some POSITIONING but it worked! It was a win win. Sort of fun because of HOW silly it felt.
I’m sharing this because life happens, but communicating is KEY.

    Best of luck!
